Concord Grape Jam

You heard it here first. Zero added sugar. No pectin. Nada. Your house will smell like a home. Your insulin levels will appreciate you. Your toast will be like no toast before it. Feeling gourmet? Not enough steps for you? Add some flaky sea salt and a sprig or two of rosemary.

We often get our grapes from Carandale or Klug Farm. There’s nothing like that sour-patch like lip smacking goodness.

Concord Grape Jam

Instructions

  • Wash your grapes. Take out the seeds. Put them all into a pot.
  • Stir, and cook on super low heat for about 2 hours. Smash.
  • Once it looks like jam, it’s jam.
  • Seal in jars, keep in the fridge.

Notes

If you did want to add a little sugar, some bourbon maple syrup or maple sugar from Chicago Maple would do the trick and avoid a wild sugar crash.
