Chris’ famous recipe! He stopped making this over ten years ago, but there was not a farmers market we attended where someone did not ask us for a jar of his sungold jam. Sungolds are one of our favorite kinds of tomatoes, and particularly sweet, almost like candy. If you can manage not to eat the whole pint before you make it to the stove, get ready for some serious flavor blasts.
- 2 parts fruit, one part sugar. Strain fruit. Bring to a boil.
- Add sugar, bring to a boil.
- Incorporate pectin through a sifter, stirring constantly.
- Bring to a boil again, and jar promptly.
